Once again in co-operation with Sony Music Germany, Yesterrock will release another high-tech AOR gem: JIM FOSTER's "PowerLInes" album which is set for release on May 27th, 2011

JIM FOSTER is a Canadian artist and song-writer who first became popular during the late 70’s and early 80’s with his band FOSTERCHILD. This band split up in 1982 and FOSTER continued to work as artist producer and in 1986 released his first solo album ‘Power Lines’ on RCA which previously officially only was released on vinyl. This album featured many renowned Canadian musicians such as Paul Hyde, Marc LaFrance, Dave Pickell (BRYAN ADAMS, DARBY MILLS, GLASS TIGER), Doug Edwards (PAUL JANZ, FIRST SHOT) and Daryl Burgess (DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH). Musically, this record ranges from AOR to Melodic Rock and at the time musically was compared to RICK SPRINGFIELD. “Power Lines” reached the top 10 in the UK album sales charts in 1986; the single for “X-Ray Eyes” became a US top 30 single hit. Yesterrock now releases this rare AOR classic for the first time on CD.
