HEARTLYNE belong to the best hidden treasures in German Hard Rock history. Founded in late 1986, the young outfit from West Berlin around singer extraordinaire Tommy Heart (SOUL DOCTOR, FAIR WARNING, ZENO), guitarists Chris Lyne (SOUL DOCTOR) and Claus Johannsohn (DOUBLE ACTION), bassist Jogy Rautenberg (SOUL DOCTOR, ex SKEW SISKIN), drummer K.K. and keyboard player Alexander Strauch (SHE’S CHINA, ex SOUL DOCTOR) caused a storm in the Berlin Hard Rock scene even though the music of the band remained to be unreleased until today.

During the past couple of years, the requests of the fans for releasing the HEARTLYNE material became more and more persistent. In late 2008 the six ‘old’ band members decided to open the archives for their true fans to release a special vintage sounding collector’s item. And here we are!!! “No Retreat No Surrender” by HEARTLYNE finally will see the light of day in May 2009! The record will be released on YESTERROCK and be distributed by NL DISTRIBUTION in Europe.
